More About the Author
Jonathan Drane is an award winning Australian author who has built a web generated ‘e-book business platform’ from scratch. His books are marketed as e-books internationally and then offered as paperbacks.
He brings his knowledge to you of this process with an author's eyes, and not with all the confusion of technical explanation (and sales hype) shown so often on the internet.
Jonathan’s non-fiction titles concentrate on manhood and his life experiences as a father, son and husband.
His first book, which was initially published as an e-book and then as a paperback, is called The Way of a Thousand Arrows, and is the story of an Australian family’s journey through the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrim route through Spain. It was launched at the 9th Australian Publishers and Authors Bookshow in November 2007 and received the Messenger Marketing Award.
His current autobiographical work The Invisible Man is about men and how they hide their true personality from the world.
His other works include mystical stories set to verse which mirror the human condition, such as "The Curlew Song" and "The Viking Ship".
In 2007 Jonathan created ‘The Author’s Friend’ to help other authors to gain confidence in their ability to connect with readers through their own self publishing endeavors. The Author’s Friend shows authors the way to self publish their books and build an e-based business platform, which showcases their books as e-books first and then as paperbacks.
His books have been received with enthusiasm in the communities to which they are relevant.
